Biology faculty teach a wide range of introductory and
elective courses to the following constituencies:
• Students majoring in biology;
• Students who wish to pursue a career in some area of
medicine;
• Students who are majoring in one of the schools
allied health majors (such as PT, OT, PA, or Dietetics);
• Mathematics and IT majors who are required to take
physics;
• The general population of students who elect to take
a course in science or who are required to do so as part of
the requirements of the college core.
